My Prototype
Have you ever spent a day working on a piece: Concept, design, construction, polish, finish, etc., only to have it snap when you put the final 925 stamp on it?
Bugger, bugger, bugger! Can bloggers swear?
Looking on the bright side, I have to credit Chris of Digital Art with my new vocabulary for such events...I will call this my prototype piece or I should say, pieces!
We were never taught to stamp/punch, whatever you like to call it, at London Guildhall. All silver work was sent to the Assay Office and that was that. Not so in Australia. I figure I'm working with sterling so I want to show it. My marker's mark...That's another story!
No photos this post as my prototype may yet become exhibition pieces!
