Bad Day

So, I had my first full day in the workshop since the exhibition and it was just one of those days. Everything that could go wrong, did! The idea was to make a few pieces for the QUARC Twilight Market that are not cost prohibitive.  Great idea in theory...A few planished rings and bangles with a touch of Christmas colour.  To be honest, for the time it takes me to do just that I wonder why would anyone bother buying them, especially since you can get similar items for an eighth of the price at a shop.
To make matters worse, I just don't have the anvils and hammers yet to roll them out quickly, in a cost effective way.  To sell the rings below, which I haven't even polished yet, I'd have to price them at a loss, so what's the point in that?
I think I'll just concentrate on finishing off some of my Moonahs.  If no one buys a thing I'll just have to chalk it up to experience.  I'll have the added bonus of more pieces for my exhibition in February.

Hopefully I won't come out of the workshop so down tonight.  It's probably the price I'm paying for working with an agenda (cost) rather than just making for me.
